Research use only

Research use only.

Research use only is not a line of fine print on this platform. It is the condition on which the catalog opens at all, the condition on which an order is accepted, and the standard every store served here is held to. This page explains how that works and what you take on when you buy.

1. What the label means here

Every material Ready Set Peptide supplies is a laboratory research material, sold for in vitro and laboratory work by qualified researchers and research institutions. It is not a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or medical device, and it is not for human or veterinary use. That statement is not decoration: it appears on every page of this store, alongside every product and certificate, and on the messages we send about an order. It is not edited, shortened, or set aside anywhere on the platform, by us or by a partner.

2. Who may enter: 21+ and qualified researcher

Before any catalog content is produced for a visitor, the request is checked for a recorded verification. A request without one is served the verification screen and nothing else — no product pages, no prices, no certificates, and nothing an automated crawler could collect instead. The check runs on the server, ahead of the page, so it cannot be dismissed, scrolled past, or skipped by linking straight to a product.

The screen asks for two confirmations: that you are at least 21 years of age, and that you are a qualified researcher acquiring materials for in vitro and laboratory research only, not for human or veterinary use. Both must be affirmed before the catalog opens.

3. What we record when you confirm

Each confirmation is written to a record we keep: the date and time, the address the request came from, the browser the request identified itself as, and — this is the part that matters — the version identifier of the confirmation text plus a cryptographic fingerprint of that exact wording. If the wording is ever revised, a new version is created; earlier records are never edited or overwritten. The record therefore shows what was agreed, on the day it was agreed, in the words that were on the screen at the time.

4. Confirmed again at checkout

Placing an order requires a second confirmation, made at checkout and recorded the same way. The server refuses an order that arrives without it, and refuses an order from a session that carries no researcher verification at all. Both records are stored with the order. At a partner counter the same confirmation is taken from the buyer before the sale is recorded.

5. What you take on as a buyer

  • Keep these materials in a controlled laboratory setting, in the hands of people qualified to work with them.
  • Store and label them as documented, and dispose of them under the rules that apply to your facility.
  • Comply with the federal, state, local, and institutional rules that govern your work — including any approval your own institution requires before you begin it.
  • Describe them to anyone else exactly as they are sold: research materials, not for human or veterinary use.

6. Resale and transfer

You may not resell, give away, or otherwise transfer these materials for human or veterinary consumption, and you may not transfer them to anyone who is not a qualified researcher. You may not repackage, relabel, dilute, or reformulate them, or remove the research-use-only statement or the lot identification that ties a vial to its certificate. Reselling on the platform is possible only through the partner program, on the terms published there.

7. When we refuse or cancel an order

We may decline or cancel any order, before or after payment, and we do not have to give a reason. In practice we do it when an order, an account, or a message to our team indicates a use other than laboratory research; when a material is restricted for the destination; when the buyer will not or cannot confirm the statements above; or when we cannot match a payment to the order’s reference code. Where an order is cancelled before it ships, what you paid is returned. Access to the store can also be ended, and a partner store suspended, for the same reasons.

8. Partner storefronts

Stores operated by partners on this platform run the same verification screen, on their own domains and at their own checkouts, and sell the same catalog with the same research-use-only labeling. A partner may not weaken, delay, or design around that verification. What a partner writes is checked against our claim rules before it can be saved, and partner marketing needs our approval before it goes out.

All materials supplied are sold For Research Use Only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements. They are not for human or veterinary use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. They have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use. Purchase is restricted to qualified researchers and research institutions.

How long we keep these records is covered in our privacy policy. See also the FDA disclaimer and our terms of use.
